at Istanbul airport, where your representative will meet and
transfer you to your hotel after our complimentary Orientation
Tour of Istanbul. Rest of the day is at leisure. This evening
meet your local guide for a " Welcome Dinner at Doga or
Nevizade Street Restaurants. We are starting our Gourmet
programme with Aegean Seafood Cuisine. Selected

2 - Istanbul

Istanbul with the highlights of the Byzantine and Ottoman
treasures. Visit in the morning the Hippodrome where athletic
events took place during the Roman period. Then continue to
the Blue Mosque famous for its blue Iznik tiles. Visit the
royal residence of Ottoman Sultans Topkapi Palace. Today
museum, the In the afternoon visit the royal residence of
Ottoman Sultans, The Topkapi Palace. A large collection of
porcelains awaits you here. The treasury section, the
highlight in the museum, presents one of the richest
collections of jewels and precious stones and gold objects.
For lunch we will drive you to Beyti Restaurant to enjoy a
typical Turkish kebab and meat feast. First, service will
begin with various appetizers such as yoghurt and various
cheese samples and pastries from Anatolia. As for the famous
kebabs you will taste from a large variety dish: Beef and lamb
shis kebabs and of course Beyti special kebap and chicken
menus are only a few of what is in the menu. Selected

the way back we are going to stop at the Kumkapi Fish Market
to take a look at some of the local fish. Visit the
masterpiece of Byzantine architecture St.Sophia Museum later.
Return to the hotel for a short rest. Dinner will be held at
Feriye Restaurant in Ortakoy. Tonight we taste the Ottoman
Cuisine. Overnight at the hotel. Selected

the open buffet breakfast at the hotel we will go to the Spice
Market. This is where you can find hundreds of types of
various spices, Turkish delight and food. We will start our
Bosphorus Cruise from here. A nice sail between the Asian and
European sides is a great experience. We will disembark the
boat in Sariyer, a town near the Black Sea entrance and
proceed to see the Fish Market here again to take a look at
some of the local fish. Tens of types of fish and seafood are
on display here. Sarıyer Borekcisi is another place to stop
by here. This is where the famous Turkish pastry, borek is
made. They generally come in with cheese, minced meat or
plain. Lunch will be served at Korfez restaurant, a famous
fish restaurant along the Bosphorus. Selected

afternoon we will continue with our exploration of the Asian
side. Highlights of this part of Istanbul such as Uskudar,
Salacak, Camlica and Bagdat Street will be visited. Free time
at Bagdat Street for a coffee break. We will return to the
hotel afterwards. Our second dinner will be held Tike or
Kosebasi Restaurant. Tonight we are going to taste The Turkish
Southeastern Kitchen. Selected

we are starting with Soleman's Mosque. Soleman is the
magnificent Sultan of the Empire during the reign of whom the
Ottomans have reached their largest borders. Passing by the
City walls of Byzantium along the Golden Horn we are going to
visit the Grand Bazaar. Then we move to an Ottoman Cuisine
restaurant: Haci Abdullah. A unique taste of Turkish dips and
kebabs along with serbets, fruit juices, will be presented
here. Later we are going to visit the famous Beyoglu Street
and the markets and food stores along it. Inci Profiterol,
Saray Pudding Shop, Beyoglu Fish & Fruit Market, famous
Cicek Pasaji (Flowers Market) is just a few. Our final dinner
will be at Divan Restaurant. Selected
